Meet Nichki, Laszlo and Moo.

THE WOOLY PIG

Nichki started her career working in forestry and environmental education, but realized that her passion was always in working with animals. With a dream of one day starting her own farm, she began training in agriculture at The Heritage Farm in Cotati, CA. From there, she worked with Kelly and Kingsly Goddard at Barberry Hill Farm in Madison, who inspired and supported her through her early farming ventures. She is now one half of The Wooly Pig and a partner at Susan Willis beautiful Bitta Blue Farm, where the two have a vegetable CSA.

THE WOOLY PIG

Laszlo began farming at an early age, making hay and maple syrup in Woodbury, CT. He is a graduate of the amazing Vocational Agriculture program at Nonnawaug High School, and a former Park Ranger in the federal park system. Laszlo is happiest when working the land on a tractor, has a knack for building and tinkering, and has a dream of one day driving his own team of oxen. He has decidely named these future oxen "Trac" and "Tor".

THE WOOLY PIG

Moo the Old English Sheepdog is an unofficial mascot of The Wooly Pig. She is very fluffy, silly, and cute. She enjoys chasing ducks and watching our tortoise walk around.
